Congratulations to the East Brunswick Soccer Club 2013 John Holland Memorial Scholarship winners Jason Flatt and Nicole Talarico. Nicole and Jason will be presented with a commemorative plaque and were given a check for $1,000 each for their college expenses. Jason will be attending Binghamton and Nicole Kutztown University this Fall. Both candidates exhibited outstanding academics, athletics, and community service during their High School years and are a testament to growing up in our town, our school system, and our Soccer Club.
2012 - Connie Fiocco and Dan Kennedy

2011 - Sherry Li and Jason Gessner
Congratulations to this year’s scholarship winners Sherry Li and Jason Gessner. Both had exemplary academic records at EBHS as well as a long list of extracurricular activities and athletic accomplishments. Jason is currently attending Rutgers University and Sherry is attending Princeton University. Pictured with our winners are committee member David Kirschenbaum representing our travel division and chair Paul Levine. Also assisting with this year's selections were Marc DiFabio representing our Board, Steven Muhlbach representing Boys rec, and Janet Gould representing girls rec.

2010 winners are Mark Schaff and Linda Sollecito. Mark and Linda were presented with a commemorative plaque and a check for $1,000 each for their college expenses. Mark will be attending Villanova University this Fall and Linda will be attending the University of Delaware. Both candidates exhibited outstanding academics, athletics, and community service during their High School years and are a testament to growing up in our town, our school system, and our Soccer Club.
The awards were presented on August 12th at the EB Library by Paul Levine, scholarship chair (left), and Joseph Geletei representing our travel program (right). Other committee members were Dom Mastro, representing boys rec, Dianne Saccenti, representing girls rec, and Liz McSpiritt from our Board of Trustees. Thank you to all of them for their help in determining this year’s winners and thank you to all of this year’s applicants. We wish you all good luck in your future endeavors!

East Brunswick Soccer Club is pleased to announce the 2009 recipient of the John Holland Memorial Scholarship: Kathleen Chase
EBSC presents this scholarship annually to high school seniors who have shown significant involvement with the Club, in order to acknowledge their soccer accomplishments and their contributions to Club and community.

The East Brunswick Soccer Club presented its John Holland Memorial Scholarships to East Brunswick High School seniors, from left, Evan Brandsdorfer, Rachel Penn and Chris Hajjar. Flanking the scholarship winners are EBSC board members Ladio Hanzes, left, and Pete Trimboli. EBSC presents the scholarships annually to high school seniors to acknowledge their soccer accomplishments and their contributions back to the club and the community. All standout varsity players at East Brunswick High School, Brandsdorfer will major in sport management and play on the soccer team at the University of North Florida, while Penn will major in biology at the University of Virginia and Hajjar will major in engineering at Lehigh University.
