EBSC encourages all coaches to further their own coaching education, and to that end, EBSC will reimburse all fees for successfully completing a licensing course.  At present, no license is required to coach in the Recreational League, but an F License is required to coach in the Travel Program.  However, all coaches are required to obtain a Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. certification, which grants to the coach partial immunity from legal actions arising over accidents that occur at practices and games.  

Additionally, all recreation coaches must complete the grassroots coaching certification for the highest level they would like to coach.

We just completed F- and E-license coaching courses for N.J. coaches of both Rec and Travel players at East Brunswick High School.  Both courses, conducted by NJ Youth Soccer coaches, were completely full and feedback was positive.  If you are interested in taking an F-license course contact Eric Miller  (VP-Training).
